What makes us so very special is our flexibility and the versatile options we have to offer both inside the house and outside in the gardens and surrounding area. We welcome photoshoots and filming, open air theatre and cinema, art exhibits, concerts and dancing - the only limit if your imagination.

Great House Parties have always been held at Findon Place and over the years the house has played host to many famous people, including aristocracy and royalty. We are delighted to also offer private dining for groups looking to celebrate a special occasion -whether it be a milestone birthday or an anniversary and our preferred caterers can create a bespoke seasonal menu to suit the occasion.

Findon Place is big on sustainability, making full use of all our local produce and suppliers which helps us minimise our environmental impact wherever possible. With nutritious, hearty and flavourful food, sourced from local farmers and fishermen, we work with private chefs to produce a menu that draws its inspiration from both the Sussex land and sea. We have a selection of private chefs we work with who can cater for all dietary requirements and provide delicious, nutritious food for each retreat and corporate event. Whether it’s a weekend yoga retreat with friends or a week of workshops and training we have the flexibility of space and the atmosphere conducive to learning and relaxation in equal measure.

Our bedrooms are set up with an emphasis on rest and recuperation, gentle spaces where you can truly relax and switch off. We have some fantastic shared spaces too - The Ballroom is great for group exercise classes or creative workshops and other rooms are good for talks and meetings. There are 53 acres of nature to explore - so plenty of beautiful walks and trails to get lost on but if you want to just stay on the Estate there’s the heated swimming pool and tennis court. If that all sounds too strenuous there are plenty of quiet spots to sit and just enjoy the wonderful gardens and soak in the views.

What’s so joyful about the space is is that when you want to gather together there’s ample room and it’s easy to focus with little to distract you but when it’s time to find a quiet space of your own and reflect you have lots of wonderful choices as to where would suit you best in that moment.
