The Bedrooms

From the moment you arrive we want you and your guests to feel like you’re at home. We have five beautiful bedrooms, each one decorated and furnished to make you feel welcome and at ease. With beds so comfortable you won’t want to get out of them you’ll soon forget about the worries and stresses of everyday life and just enjoy the country idyll and the company of friends and family.

The Best Bedroom Suite looks over South Lawn and beyond to South Park. Gorgeous sash windows and their original wooden shutters allows for complete darkness to ensure a good night’s sleep in the canopied superking bed. A huge fireplace with log burner makes it cosy on chillier nights. The bath in the en suite has the most wonderful view too and plenty of room for getting ready in with it’s walk in wardrobe and dedicated and dreamy Dressing Room.

The Dove Room is the best view in the house for all the arrivals as it’s view is of our beautiful hedge lined front drive. A sumptuous and calm room with it’s king size bed and ample space for relaxing in.

The Chanctonbury - a huge room with a four poster superking bed overlooking the Sussex countryside to Long Furlong and beyond to Chanctonbury Ring. With huge windows and a view of the entrance, original shutters, a fireplace and log burner, comfortable sofa and chairs to sink into it’s hard to leave this room, especially once you’ve drawn the curtains on the bed! The sofa bed allows for extra guests to be accommodated. This room shares a bathroom with the Dove Room.

The Toile Room and Beech Room - located in the East Wing both full of natural light and overlooking the South Lawn and the gardens below. The Toile Room has hand painted wallpaper and cheery red French toile and calming linen. This room and The Beech room next door are linked by a small room (suitable for a cot) and each of these rooms can be either twin or superking to suit your needs.
