Come and join Helen Wallace - a leading Calligraphy and Brush Lettering artist in the Ballroom at Findon Place on Sunday 5th March at 2pm.  
This  relaxing beginner's workshop will introduce you to modern calligraphy using dip pen and ink.  The class will guide students through the basics of Modern Calligraphy, from ink flow and pen pressure, to mark making and shapes, and learning the modern alphabet.  By the end of the session, you'll be practising free form words and developing your own style with lots of guidance and demonstrations from Helen.

What's included: 
All materials for the workshop will be provided and you will be able to take away the tools needed to carry on your calligraphy journey at home.

Designed for beginners, there is no experience necessary.
It's a perfect way to spend a couple of hours learning something new with friends or family.  If you're getting married this year - and you want to make your wedding more personal this is an ideal craft to learn!There will be the chance to make lots of prints so we recommend bringing a weather appropriate bag to take them home in.
